Argenbright announces £60m UK investment

The US-based Argenbright Group is to invest another £60m in its UK operations over the next two years.

The Atlanta, Georgia, company has already spent a similar sum for its security platform, Argenbright Security Europe Limited.

Last year it sank money into Amberstone Security and then acquired the Protector Group that same year as well forging a partnership with Tailored Fire & Security in early 2023. Argenbright will explore aviation services in the UK.

Ernie Patterson, Chairman, International Business for Argenbright Group said: “We are deliberate and thoughtful regarding where and how we align ourselves.

“These three acquisitions and partnerships bring a technology-led approach to the security and safety business. I’m proud to help lead the Argenbright brand in the UK and foster its unique business approach within the British market.”

The Argenbright Group includes Velociti Services, a facilities services company, and Unifi Aviation, the largest provider of aviation services in the US.

The firm has 3,000 staff in the UK.

The company was founded in 1979 by Atlanta-based entrepreneur Frank A. Argenbright Jr and is reportedly a £1.4bn operation globally.
