AURA UK, founded in South Africa to deliver a centralised and cost-effective private security platform, has achieved Secured by Design accreditation.
The company has reportedly expanded internationally and is now building the UK’s largest connected network of vetted mobile security responders.
The company’s AURA Rapid Security Response platform is said to connect with alarm systems, CCTV and alarm manufacturer apps and devices such as panic buttons, supporting both monitored and self-monitored commercial and residential properties.
Instead of relying on one mobile security company to protect a site, the AURA Rapid Security Response technology is said to use advanced algorithms to automatically identify and dispatch the closest private security responders for immediate help.
This many-to-one model reportedly removes the need for manual call outs and co-ordination and delivers a faster, more dynamic service that significantly cuts average response times to help reduce crime and support the police.
According to AURA UK, DSOC (Doncaster Security Operations Centre) has reported a 74% reduction in controller handling time per callout since adopting AURA Rapid Security Response.
The company has reported that it currently partners with more than 180 private security companies across the UK protecting over 175,000 sites nationwide and is already having an impact on reducing crime.
Alex Booth, Managing Director, AURA UK said: “We’re proud to be a member of Secured by Design.
“At AURA, our commitment to rapid security response, safety and innovation, aligns perfectly with this respected police accreditation and we’re delighted to support its mission to reduce crime through smarter design.”
