Axis Communications introduces OPEN, a new event concept to showcase how technology is driving innovation in security, safety, and operational efficiency.
Axis Communications has announced OPEN, an ambitious and engaging series of events in the UK & Europe in partnership with Genetec and Milestone, with 2023 dates confirmed.
The UK event will take place in London on 31 October.
The new OPEN events will highlight how technology is driving innovation in security, safety, and operational efficiency, while also providing a platform for delegates to learn about the pressing issues of sustainability and cyber security.
The OPEN series of events will start in Q4 2023 offering systems integrators, distributors, and consultants, as well as end-customers and opportunity to meet during an inspiring and insightful day.
The aim of the events will be to open new opportunities for visitors, facilitate connection with wider industry leaders in networking events and discover more about the challenges and opportunities arising from the key trends in the security industry.
The first six locations and dates for 2023 in UK and Europe have been confirmed with more than 2000 expected attendees. With speakers from Axis, its partners, and external experts, issues around evolving technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud will be discussed; while the broader topics of cybersecurity, sustainability, and digital transformation will also take centre stage. Further city locations and dates for EMEA in early 2024 are to be announced soon.

The OPEN events will be structured around three working areas including OPEN Mind for inspiring plenary sessions, panel debates and breakout workshops; OPEN Learn, a tech bar to start conversations and answer questions in an intimate and friendly space; and OPEN Zone to enable the easy delivery of presentations and product demos within partner pods. Above all, the focus will be on education, collaboration, and networking.
