New partnership with B-Tech UK to provide even greater flexibility to QED’s product range

August 17, 2021

Quality Essential Distribution (QED) has recently announced its new partnership with B-Tech AV Mounts, a leading brand of professional AV mounting solutions, recognised worldwide for their reliability, robustness, ease of install and design aesthetics.

This partnership has been driven by the need to add more flexibility to QED’s product range: supporting partners working in retail and environments with B-Tech’s product offering filling the gap in areas such as AV and digital signage.

QED will also be showcasing the B-Tech brackets at The Security Event on 7-9 September.

“The perfect fit for us and our customers”

Ian Garden, QED’s Sales Director said: “The world of AV technology is constantly evolving and we wanted to partner with a supplier who is a world leader in this field. In addition, B-Tech’s approach and company ethos is the perfect fit for us and our customers. This new partnership also gives us the opportunity to expand into the wider AV market and we will now be offering multi-screen video walls and digital signage to our expanding portfolio.”

This is a good move for the business, with digital signage and video wall communication demand rising in the past year as an effective medium for variable communications, including for safety and security messages.

Sarah Barnes, B-Tech’s Account Manager, remarked: “We’ve been at the forefront of technological development and engineer all of our products with the installer in mind. We are delighted to have entered into a partnership with Quality Essential Distribution, whose values and culture of delivering the highest quality products to customers on time and to the right specification to make their life as easy as possible, matches our own.”

B-Tech mounting solutions cover all AV requirements ranging from small single screens to large format displays, projectors, speakers, interactive touchscreens and UC equipment as well as multi-screen video walls and digital signage.

The realisation that the security industry’s needs are expanding into different areas is one of the reasons QED are expanding into non-traditional security products. This is likely to continue as more and more systems become further integrated far beyond standalone CCTV systems. These factors have resulted in a demanding and fast-growing marketplace for this technology.
