BT Redcare, the trusted provider of no-compromise alarm signalling, has today announced three new market-leading certifications for its Next Generation portfolio.

The certifications demonstrate BT Redcare’s ongoing commitment to excellence and maintaining the highest standards across all products and services.

Redcare’s products have passed three of the world’s most rigorous third-party certification schemes:
• World-renowned European Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) for its Essential IP product
• BSI Kitemark certifications for its IoT devices and for its Secure Digital Applications for the Redcare app and portal
• Secured Connected Device (SCD) accreditation for its Monitored Alarm Signalling

These certifications set BT Redcare apart from competitors by providing validation of the high quality and standards maintained by its portfolio.

It also provides installers and end-customers with the confidence that solutions can be relied upon in emergencies.

Nick Whiting, Head of BT Redcare, part of its Enterprise business, said: “We’re proud to be leading from the front with third-party certifications.

“It’s vital that the industry takes all the steps necessary to protect people, premises, and possessions, and the three certifications give installers the confidence to reassure customers that solutions will perform in emergencies.

“BT Redcare means business and we are taking installers into the fast lane by providing a Next Generation portfolio that has the highest third-party certification, boosting their reputation and their bottom line.”

Michelle Kradolfer, Secured by Design Internet of Things (IoT) Technical Officer, said: “I am absolutely delighted that BT Redcare has achieved the Secure Connected Device accreditation for its Monitored Alarm Signalling Systems, the first of its kind to achieve this accreditation.

“With the rise in IoT and smart devices being sold in the UK market, it is essential for companies to play their part in ensuring IoT products are built securely to protect their consumers.

“BT Redcare has demonstrated that its products have undergone and achieved the appropriate IoT standards and certifications.
