Burg-Wächter has launched its Secure Communities Awards, giving regional community leaders and volunteers the chance to win security products worth up to £200 for their organisation.
Any regional initiative that is run by – or supports – the local community is eligible to apply.
The ongoing Secure Communities Awards is said to recognise the dedication of individuals across the country who give their time and energy to support their communities.
Burg-Wächter has articulated that local heroes should not have to worry about the security of their premises, equipment or storage areas.
The awards is said to be the company’s way of saying thank you to community leaders for their invaluable contributions to people in their area.
The Secure Communities Awards are reportedly open to a wide range of community projects and organisations.
Eligible initiatives could include scout groups, local sports clubs such as cycling or football teams, school after-hours clubs, hospital or healthcare community programmes, providers of events for children or older adults, facilitators of village activities, or town and village charities.
As long as the initiative is run by or supports the local community and has a specific security need, Burg-Wächter has said that they would love to hear from them.
Successful applicants will receive a tailored security bundle, valued at £200 at retail price, to help safeguard property, premises, equipment or storage areas.
Since its inception, Burg-Wächter has reportedly supported 97 regional causes, providing over 2,000 pieces of security equipment to help keep communities safe.
