Chubb has been awarded the Founder Member Award from the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) after over 50 years of membership. The BSIA awards recognise the achievements and innovations of UK security industry leaders.

“I’m proud to accept this award in recognition of our long-standing commitment to serving the security industry,” said Graeme Heanan, UK Director, Chubb Fire & Security.

“The BSIA provides an invaluable service, keeping members updated with the latest trends and challenges within the industry. Being a member has brought us great benefits over the years; we’ve worked in collaboration with the BSIA on many legislative matters and European standards. Often these are complex areas to navigate, and the BSIA has helped us implement procedures that correctly align and comply with the latest industry requirements.

“In addition, we would like to thank our customers for their continued support and our employees for their dedication in helping to make this award possible.”

The BSIA Founder Member Award is awarded to companies that have demonstrated a 25-year plus commitment to the industry. Award recipients are the foundation of the BSIA.

“Being a member of the BSIA has given us an influential voice in the security industry that we wouldn’t otherwise have,” said Colin Walters, Director, Chubb Monitoring Centres “The BSIA has supported Chubb in many ways including advocating other parts of the industry on matters that support and encouraging excellence in the security industry. We are delighted to receive this recognition and we look forward to many more years of active participation with the BSIA.”
