Clue Software has announced the latest evolution in its AI tool suite.

Built for intelligence and investigation professionals, Clue’s Assisted AI combines compliance, accuracy and evidential integrity with human-in-the-loop design to enhance expert judgment.

Building on its existing AI capabilities, Clue states that the new tools will help teams assess, prioritise and act with greater confidence and efficiency.

As threats proliferate, teams are under mounting pressure to triage and develop intelligence more efficiently.

Clue’s Assisted AI has been developed to meet operational realities by helping professionals work faster, more consistently and with greater assurance across high-stakes environments.

AI for investigators

Developed in collaboration with law enforcement, government and private-sector users, Clue’s Assisted AI tools deliver three key capabilities designed to save time and strengthen investigative outcomes:

  • Proactive intelligence detection – AI-assisted watchlists automatically flag new information connected to people, organisations, or entities of interest, surfacing emerging links and risks earlier
  • Faster data triage – Entity recognition technology quickly converts unstructured text into structured insights, helping teams find key names, organisations and locations in moments rather than hours
  • Stronger collaboration – Real-time record subscriptions alert investigation teams to case updates automatically, ensuring no critical changes go unnoticed

“Protecting people, organisations and society”

Clare Elford, CEO, Clue Software commented: “The world our customers operate in is more complex and fast-moving than ever – from cyber-crime and fraud to misinformation, insider threat and geopolitical risk.

Investigators and intelligence professionals are under immense pressure to disrupt and reduce the threat, often with limited resources – they need to do more with less.

By applying AI responsibly, we’re helping them work more efficiently and with greater confidence, so they can stay ahead of emerging threats and continue protecting people, organisations and society.”

Strengthening the investigation community

Alongside the launch of the Assisted AI tools, Clue has also announced a series of initiatives to help customers share expertise, drive consistency and advance standards across the investigation community at the 8th Annual Clue Connect Conference. This includes:

  • Threat Insight Group – Led by Laura Eshelby, Head of Economic Crime, these cross-sector groups bring customers together to share insights, develop shared approaches and tackle priority harm areas such as economic crime, safeguarding and insider risk
  • Best Practice Library – Developed in collaboration with the Clue community, this resource includes proven configurations, templates, processes and policy examples that support best-practice implementations for common intelligence and investigation use cases. This helps organisations strengthen their capabilities and work in greater alignment across sectors
  • Clue Developer Centre – Meeting growing demand to connect Clue with other systems, the Developer Centre enables customers and partners to build secure integrations that share critical investigative data. It provides the tools and guidance to extend Clue’s reach across wider intelligence and case-management ecosystems
