Manchester the “perfect location” for Coalfire’s EMEA HQ

January 27, 2021

Global cybersecurity consultancy, Coalfire, have recently claimed that Manchester is the ideal location for the company’s new EMEA headquarters, reports Insider.

Coalfire – who were acquired by Apax Partners in 2019 – confirmed in December 2020 that they would be taking on a 5,500 sq-ft space at the City Tower.

Andy Barratt, UK Managing Director, remarked: “[After a] year of upheaval, it was important for us to reaffirm our commitment to our staff and our communities and continue to provide a physical presence in Manchester for staff, customers and partners to enjoy working from”.

“Remote working has always been part of our culture but the benefit of a new space, which many of the team contributed design ideas to, cannot be understated,” he added.

“Manchester’s been our UK home since 2013 and has seen our team grow from one person to 30 in that time. Its digital strengths and international connectivity also make it the perfect location for a growing tech business – and Covid-19 hasn’t changed that.”

Barratt continued: “Taking in the lessons we’ve learned during lockdown, we’ll also be incorporating more collaborative working, fun space, as well as event spaces into the new office’s fit-out, making it a real destination for employees and clients in years to come.”
