barox Kommunikation AG has reported a commitment to raising environmental standards and has recently been rewarded – once again passing its ISO 14001, 27001 and 9001 compliance audits.
The organisation highlights its particular commitment to global standards of quality assurance and manufacturing environmental standards.
As part of barox Kommunikation’s ISO 14001 environmental management system, the organisation has articulated that it consistently pursues the goal of systematically identifying and evaluating its own environmental impact and minimising it through reduction strategies.
In respect to barox Kommunikation’s commitment to green manufacturing and in accordance with ISO 14001, the compliance audit reveals that the manufacturer has further reduced its CO₂ emissions overall, leading to the improvement of environmental standards within three key areas.
barox Kommunikation has reportedly made a gradual switch to the use of alternative materials in aims of reducing the amount of plastic used in its packaging solutions according to the compliance audit.
This transition, according to barox Kommunikation, involved utilising a third-party supplier, with specific packaging requirements.
This has resulted in almost half the amount of plastic used in the organisation’s product packaging since 2019.
The second focus for the organisation was to focus on the entire supply chain – with particular emphasis on transportation from factories and subcontractors to the manufacturer.
In this respect, barox Kommunikation has articulated that its ongoing strategy of switching from air to sea freight, is delivering a positive impact on its environmental standards.
Finally, barox Kommunikation has taken strides to educate employees on effective waste separation across all company sites, with a steady improvement in the handling of recyclable materials.
barox Kommunikation is said to be utilising reusable packaging for product deliveries to customers.
