FGH Security has announced its recent acquisition of Mitre Group, a company known for its training solutions specialising in stadium safety.
This acquisition combines FGH Security’s twenty years of expertise in keeping people safe in high footfall environments, with Mitre Group’s thirty years of experience in stadium safety training.
The move is part of FGH Training’s ongoing effort to enhance its capabilities and deliver solutions in keeping people safe within the global stadium safety and major event markets.
“We are very excited,” said Peter Harrison, FGH Security MD and Founder.
“Both organisations have similar values and standards, with some exceptional subject matter experts who have dedicated their career to keeping people safe.
“We look forward to sharing best practises and continuing to build on both organisations previous successes.
“There will be no immediate changes to any structure or service offering, but we are keen to welcome feedback from all stakeholders.”
Customers of both FGH Training and Mitre Group can expect to benefit from an expanded portfolio of services.
With FGH customers benefiting from additions including Level 4 in Spectator Safety and Strategic Readiness Exercises and Mitre Group customers benefiting from access to service from FGH Security including Crowd Dynamics Modelling, Counter Terrorism Risk Management and the supply of SIA and Safety Steward Personnel.
FGH Security has decades of experience keeping people safe at some of the world’s largest sporting and cultural events and is currently expanding in both Europe and the Middle East.
The company says the acquisition of Mitre Group is the beginning of what promises to be an exciting journey towards setting new industry standards and providing exceptional training solutions across the world, with a real potential to add value to organisations like FIFA, Saudi Pro League, IOC, the Superbowl, F1 and the Commonwealth.
“I am delighted to be passing on the Mitre baton to FGH Security, an organisation I have respected for several years,” said Bromley Sibson, Mitre MD.
“Having their expertise and outstanding commitment for #KeepingPeopleSafe combined with Mitre’s high-quality stadium safety training offer presents a remarkable opportunity to raise standards across the global stadium safety and major event markets industry.
“I can’t thank the Mitre staff enough for their hard work over the last few years and wish them and FGH Security all the best for the future.”
