Flir is set to showcase its latest advancements in AI‑enabled perimeter protection at The Security Event (TSE) in Birmingham from April 28-30, highlighting the company’s innovative capabilities and their multi-layered approach to securing complex environments.
The company reports that at the centre of the exhibit is the FCB‑Series AI, a next‑generation thermal camera that pairs Flir’s proven imaging performance with deep‑learning analytics for precise human and vehicle classification.
By reducing nuisance alarms and strengthening real‑time decision‑making, the FCB‑Series AI is said to demonstrate how edge intelligence is reshaping modern site defence.
Flir’s multi-layered security architecture – combining thermal and visible imaging, long‑range radar, and AI‑driven processing – will also reportedly be on display.
According to the company, this integrated ecosystem delivers a unified operational picture that supports faster detection, clearer verification and more confident response, even in the most challenging conditions.
Harry Jackman, Director of Security Solutions, EMEA at Flir said: “Our mission is to give security teams the clarity and confidence they need to act decisively
“By bringing FCB‑AI processing together with our thermal heritage and software‑driven orchestration, we’re enabling a new standard of intelligent, scalable perimeter protection.”
Attendees can explore how Flir’s cameras and radar integrate seamlessly with FLIR United VMS and Nexus to create a cohesive, proactive security workflow.
