Gallagher Security makes two appointments to drive marketing growth

Gallagher Security has appointed Tom Harding as Head of Digital and Hugo Parcell as Head of Brand and Creative, to help drive marketing growth.

Harding joins the team as Head of Digital with an ambitious mission to develop new digital experiences for Gallagher’s customers, partners and prospects, the company says.

Before joining Gallagher, he served as Co-Founder and CEO of Mish Guru where he led market activities and grew the New York-based sales and marketing teams.

Having worked alongside clients such as McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Lululemon and Spotify, Harding brings a deep understanding of customer-centricity to the role and is motivated to implement ways to connect Gallagher with its growing customer base.

“Gallagher has really ambitious goals for growth and I think it’s clear to everyone that the foundations to enable this are already in place,” said Harding.

“It’s just a matter of putting those puzzle pieces together and communicating that vision with our customers so we can deliver more value and drive expansion in the process.

“It’s a huge opportunity, and it’s what I’m most excited about in starting this new role.”

An inspiring story

“The Gallagher story is such an inspiring one,” added Parcell.

“To be a family-owned business with local roots in New Zealand and be a global player with big ambitions at the same time is a unique position to be in and it’s a big part of what attracted me to the role.”

Parcell began his career at JWT advertising agency in London managing marketing campaigns for Mazda, Berocca and InterContinental Hotels Group.

Following a move to New Zealand, he continued his advertising career working on accounts including Spark, Optus, Red Bull, Partners Life and more.

Most recently, he served as Marketing Director at Power Farming, demonstrating a wide range of brand experience across industries, an asset he believes will serve him well at Gallagher.

“We might be in the security business, but our solutions empower a variety of verticals and I’m excited to bring that kind of customer perspective to our team,” said Parcell.
