The UK permanent perimeter protection solutions arm of Heras has made two pivotal appointments to complete a trio of Key Account Managers (KAMs), who are spearheading the company’s sales growth plans.
Jacqui Walker and Phil Lafone join Luke Sanders as the company’s KAM team, with the brief to target sectors such as facilities management, utilities, integrators and distribution hubs to generate more business.
They have already hit the ground running in leveraging opportunities to promote the permanent perimeter protection solutions that Heras can offer in the UK.
Jacqui joins the Doncaster-based company (which is Europe’s leading end-to-end supplier of permanent and mobile perimeter protection solutions) from a construction machinery background with more than 20 years of industry experience – 15 of which have been in sales management.
She said that she wasn’t looking for a career move, but she was impressed at the scale and scope of the opportunity at Heras and saw it as too good to turn down.
“Everyone in the construction industry knows the Heras name because it is so closely associated with temporary perimeter solutions. However, the permanent perimeter protection suite of products are also the best in class, and I’m looking forward to championing Heras’s range of permanent products,” said Jacqui.
It’s a view shared by Phil, who brings more than 20 years’ experience of field sales in the construction industry to the role, having previously worked with Luke and coming highly recommended because of a solid track record in sales.
He said: “Because Heras has such a well-rounded portfolio of permanent perimeter protection solutions, our KAM team are confident that we can provide exactly the right specification of fencing and gate systems to secure any site in the UK.”
The KAMs work closely with Heras’s team of estimators and project managers to provide an agile and responsive service for tier-one contractors and site owners.
Heras’s Managing Director for the UK, David Owen, says that the appointment of Jacqui and Phil to complete the KAMs will enable the business to meet the challenges of the next couple of years head on.
