Hill & Smith Infrastructure has acquired the assets and intellectual property of SYSTRA’s range of perimeter security and HVM products.
According to the company, the SYSTRA re-deployable security systems are a range of modular products which are tested to the highest standards to mitigate the risk of hostile vehicle attacks, in order to provide protection to people and assets.
They constitute a major element of the UK’s strategic National Barrier Asset.
The surface-mounted systems can be deployed on a temporary basis, providing flexible solutions for security sensitive locations such as governmental, commercial and critical national infrastructure sites and high profile events.
The modular nature of the range enables fast redeployment and reconfiguration to meet clients’ evolving needs against terrorism threats.
Over the years, Hill & Smith Infrastructure has supported the protection of the public during both national and international events such as the King’s Coronation, the Birmingham Commonwealth Games and Dubai Expo 2020.
“We are really pleased to announce the acquisition of assets and IP from SYSTRA, which enhances our sector capabilities and supports the National Barrier Asset framework,” said Dave Todd, Managing Director Services at Hill & Smith Infrastructure.
“The product range complements our existing Hostile Vehicle Mitigation product portfolio and leaves us well-placed for the future.”
