The West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre (WMCRC) has announced Del Heppenstall, KPMG Cyber Security Partner, as its latest board member.
With nearly 20 years direct experience in Information and Cyber Security, Del has built up a wealth of experience in advising clients on topics ranging from security strategy and organisational design to technical security solution implementation and operation.
Del has led cyber security work across multiple sectors and has worked with many of the UK’s major organisations over the past few years, helping them to transform their security organisations and capabilities. Over the course of his career Del has also provided security insight, expertise and leadership to several central government and public sector bodies.
On the appointment, Del commented: “I am delighted to be part of the West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre Board and I am looking forward to sharing the insights that KPMG has, and how these can help with the alignment of public and private sector cyber strategies across the region.”
