ASSA ABLOY Commercial Group has announced the appointment of Bob Kemp as Regional Sales Manager for the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland, joining its growing Locksmith Division.
With more than ten years at ASSA ABLOY, Kemp is reportedly a well-established figure across the region, having worked with the Exidor brand and most recently in business development for door closers.
His move into the locksmith team is said to reflect the business’ ongoing focus on maintaining close relationships with locksmiths and delivering trusted, expert support on the ground.
Kemp said: “I’ve worked with many locksmiths over the years and really value the relationships we’ve built.
“This new role gives me the chance to focus more closely on the sector and be part of a team that’s genuinely invested in supporting it.
“I’m looking forward to being out there with customers, helping to make sure they get what they need quickly and without hassle.”
Bob’s appointment reportedly follows the creation of ASSA ABLOY’s dedicated Locksmith Division, which brings together trusted brands under the ASSA ABLOY umbrella, including ASSA, UNION and Mul-T-Lock.
The company has reported that it is a structure designed to reflect what locksmiths have asked for: Clear points of contact, faster service and a more joined-up approach across mechanical and digital solutions.
