LogPoint appoints Tim Wallen as Regional Director for UK&I

October 6, 2021

LogPoint, the global cybersecurity innovator, has announced Tim Wallen as Regional Director for the UK & Ireland.

Wallen will be responsible for driving strategic growth and leading the growing team of LogPoint sales, marketing and technical professionals working out of the new LogPoint offices in the City of London.

“I’m excited to join LogPoint at a time where large scale digital transformation is accelerating and remote working projects are redefining the way organisations work. As application development and delivery is being revolutionised, there has never been a bigger need to understand the threat landscape for any kind of organisation, big or small,” says Tim Wallen.

“The cybersecurity market is experiencing a long-awaited technology convergence. It is no longer acceptable to have product silos for detection and response that can barely interoperate. Analysts and hunters need accurate data and automation, and that is exactly what LogPoint provides.”

Wallen joins on the heels of LogPoint’s 22 September announcement of advancing foundational cybersecurity capabilities by including SOAR in its core SIEM solution as standard.

Tim Wallen joins LogPoint with almost 20 years of cybersecurity experience. He has held senior sales and management positions within both high-growth and established vendors, including FireMon, ForeScout, Check Point, McAfee and IBM. Wallen will be reporting to Andrew Lintell, LogPoint VP EMEA, also based in the UK.

“Tim will be leading a fantastic team in the UK, and I believe he has exactly what it takes to expand rapidly to meet the increasing need in the market while nurturing the core culture and high service level that has made LogPoint what it is to date,” says Andrew Lintell, LogPoint VP EMEA. “Tim shares our philosophy, that each and every customer is important, valued and that collaboration and communication is the key to mutual success.”

LogPoint provides an integrated, foundational Security Operations platform, including its Core SIEM solution, UEBA, SAP security and SOAR. LogPoint accelerates the detection and response to threats and enable organisations to convert data into actionable intelligence: supporting cybersecurity, compliance, IT operations and business analytics.
