It has recently been announced that NACD – who provide visitor door-entry and access control solutions – have relaunched four security products after joining the official police security initiative, Secured by Design (SBD).
NACD met the highest of LPCB (Building Research Establishment’s Loss Prevention Certification Board) security standards for their products and have now been recognised by the UK Police Service for achieving Police Preferred Specification – this certifies that the company’s products have proved to be robust against forced entry attempts.
The following products have been listed:
2 x IPGUARD 4G Smart visitor door entry panels – these enable residents to use devices to receive calls from visitors at building entrance doors
NPH300 visitor video monitor door entry system – a solution for when video monitors are required – this also provides visitor call-logging via BATICONNECT Cloud
The EVE 196-X3 access control door controller – designed for single door use and is also part of the BATICONNECT Cloud system.
Richard Collis, NACD Managing Director, remarked: “This is a very exciting step forward for our business at the start of a New Year which we all hope will be a landmark year for business growth in the UK following Brexit and the continuing challenges posed by the pandemic.
“Our new association with Secured by Design is so important and will help us present our new security credentials, especially our achievement of attaining UK Police Preferred Specification, to our existing and new customers across the UK.”
Lyn Poole, SBD Development Officer, also commented: “We are delighted to have NACD on board. They are a company committed to providing safe and secure developments to help keep people safe and to deter and reduce crime. We look forward to working with them over the coming months.”
