Keenfinity Group has announced its new PRA-AR616 router amplifier, designed to enhance the performance of its Praesensa Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems and unlock new application possibilities.
The system is said to offer voice alarm functionality for public address zones, alongside background music capability, at a competitive price-per-zone ratio.
According to the company, this makes it the perfect complement to the two powerful multi-channel amplifiers for performance zones already part of the Praesensa ecosystem.
The combination of these amplifier types reportedly offer a cost-effective solution for a wide range of applications, from security and everyday public address systems to medium-sized and large-scale projects such as shopping malls and airports.
Praesensa is said to offer two multi-channel performance amplifiers and now also a one-channel router amplifier with relay-switched outputs.
Keenfinity Group has articulated that where required, the high demands of performance zones are fully met, while using the router amplifier for zones with essential requirements saves costs.
This reportedly allows system planners to create the most cost-effective combination of amplifiers for essential zones with existing amplifiers for performance zones.
Driven by safety requirements and the desire to provide flexibility to system designers, the router amplifier has been designed to cover the essential zones as part of a complete Praesensa system.
Its single 600W amplifier channel can be shared over relays to route the same audio to 16 loudspeaker outputs.
With its built-in spare amplifier channel, the router amplifier is said to ensure maximum system availability, fully meeting EN 54-16 certification requirements.
When combined with Praesensa’s diverse components such as system controllers, interface modules and amplifier models, the system design can cover the wide-ranging use cases of mid-size projects such as hotels and warehouses.
The IP-based Praesensa PAVA system from Keenfinity Group reportedly offers excellent scalability with options like advanced call stations, wall control panels, ambient noise sensor, I/O interface module and IP-connected amplifiers all in the same ecosystem.
This seamless scalability is said to minimise planning risks for system designers.
According to the company, the router amplifier system designers can now respond even more precisely to the exact number of zones, their speaker load demand and the required range of functions.
The new router amplifier reportedly ensures Praesensa systems can offer maximum efficiency and value for money meeting highest emergency standards while also providing outstanding performance for everyday use.
