Hanwha Vision has announced the launch of the PNM-A13022RV, the latest addition to its multi-sensor camera line-up, designed to deliver exceptional clarity, flexibility and efficiency for a wide range of surveillance applications.
With a horizontal field of view of 194° and vertical coverage of 93°, the PNM-A13022RV is said to capture expansive scenes with fewer blind spots, making it ideal for large open areas, complex facilities or outdoor environments.
This wide coverage reportedly reduces the need for multiple cameras, lowering systems costs and simplifying overall surveillance management.
According to the company, the PNM-A13022RV uses three image sensors to compose a panoramic image, resulting in fewer stitching lines than panoramic images composed of four images.
The PNM-A13022RV reportedly automatically adjusts image distortion at stitching lines in real time to maintain a seamless panoramic image and also features horizontal distortion correction.
According to Hanwha Vision, this addresses the optical distortion often caused by wide-angle panoramic views – where horizons can appear curved – by allowing users to set a reference line to correct the effect.
At the core of the PNM-A13022RV performance is its high-resolution 13MP camera operating at 30 FPS, which is said to deliver smooth, detailed video that captures fast-moving objects and critical events with clarity.
Integrated AI features can reportedly enable object classification, motion detection and advanced analytics supported at full 30fps, including people, vehicles and license plate detection.
Business intelligence – including people, vehicle and crowd counting, along with queue management and heatmap – is said to be powered by the AI engine.
Metadata attributes such as gender, age, facemask, glasses, vehicle types and colour and clothing colour are transmitted directly to your video management system, streamlining forensic searches and allowing security teams to respond quickly to incidents.
These AI-powered capabilities also reportedly support complex scenarios like crowd monitoring, traffic management or compliance verification, enhancing situational awareness across diverse environments.
The PNM-A13022RV is said to incorporate privacy and cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data, with FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certification, secure boot and encrypted storage to ensure robust device integrity.
According to Hanwha Vision, organisations can confidently deploy the camera in sensitive or regulated environments, knowing that operational efficiency and compliance are maintained.
Connectivity and management are simplified through built-in cloud support, Wi-Fi direct installation and compatibility with major VMS platforms, enabling remote monitoring, configuration and seamless integration with existing security systems.
The camera’s durable, weather-resistant housing with IK10 impact protection and IP66 ingress protection is said to ensure reliable operation even in harsh outdoor conditions.
The PNM-A13022RV horizontal distortion correction reportedly preserves image quality across the wide field of view, providing accurate, actionable surveillance footage without compromise.
The PNM-A13022RV is said to exemplify Hanwha Vision’s commitment to innovation, offering smarter design and superior performance for today’s demanding security environments.
