OPTEX has reported that it is set to use The Security Event 2026 to showcase its latest innovations in intelligent intrusion detection and smart security, with a programme of live demonstrations designed to show how its sensing technologies deliver reliable and accurate detection across a wide range of sites and risk profiles.
At the event, OPTEX is said to offer a sneak peek of two new solutions that will be launched later this year: TXI, OPTEX’s next generation high-mount curtain detector and Olarm ONE, the first wireless alarm system built natively with OPTEX sensors.
Throughout TSE, visitors to the stand will reportedly be able to experience OPTEX’s portfolio of leading technologies first-hand across key applications, including high security and critical infrastructure environments.
According to the company, live demonstrations will include OPTEX’s award-winning REDSCAN LiDAR range, including the newest addition to the series, REDSCAN Lite.
Specifically developed to provide ultra-fast short-range detection in tight and narrow indoor spaces, REDSCAN Lite is said to be particularly well suited to protect high security sites such as data centres, delivering enhanced detection in spaces that cannot be protected by traditional sensors.
Alongside its pioneering LiDAR portfolio, OPTEX will also reportedly demonstrate its Fiber SenSys fibre sensing technologies for advanced detection across large perimeters.
OPTEX has articulated that along with all the above, the stand will be presenting the Olarm MAX – OPTEX’s Grade 3 Dual Path (DP) 4 communicator for upgrading new and existing alarm panels with modern connectivity and convenient remote management.
Throughout the event the team will be reportedly demonstrating how the Olarm MAX can be seamlessly installed and integrated with different alarm panels (compatible with all major alarm brands and manufacturers); highlighting how the system can be remotely managed via the user-friendly Olarm app and Command Centre to manage multiple Olarm units simultaneously.
According to the OPTEX, they will once again be joined on-stand by RAYTEC, the LED lighting specialist and an OPTEX Group company, with joint demonstrations to showcase the power of integrated detection and lighting technologies.
Lawrence Peters, Head of Sales – UK & Ireland, OPTEX said: “The Security Event remains hugely important for us, providing a key opportunity to meet with installers, integrators, consultants and end-users from across the UK, Ireland and beyond.”
“Throughout the event, our team will be giving visitors a first-hand experience of how our leading portfolio of sensing and detection solutions, across LiDAR, fibre optic and digital communications, can deliver comprehensive security protection.
“We’re excited to present how the Olarm MAX provides a simple upgrade solution for both commercial and residential properties as it helps to breathe new life into legacy systems as the old Public Switch Telephone Network is phased out.
“Visitors to the stand will also have an early view of our new TXI and Olarm ONE solutions launching later this year, which are designed to further enhance what is possible for modern security projects.”
