Employee safety technology provider, Peoplesafe, has renewed its membership with Secured by Design (SBD), the official police security initiative.
Peoplesafe integrates technology with a dedicated, 24/7 Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), to provide emergency help faster than 999.
It delivers on this by answering SOS alarms in less than 5 seconds, through its fully accredited ARC, which has a direct line to police forces across the UK.
The company says this industry-leading service is why Peoplesafe is trusted to protect over 250,000 users and work with some of the world’s largest companies and public organisations, such as the NHS, BT and Capita.
Peoplesafe is continuing its support of Secured by Design – having been members since 2010 – and is working to reduce the load on police services by removing over 320,000 emergency calls every year.

With this focus, Peoplesafe is understood to consistently exceed BS 8484 response standards, taking three seconds to listen to an alarm on average.
