Police in Essex utilise Corsight AI to crack down on crime

Police forces in the UK have recently commended Corsight AI for helping to solve serious cases using its facial recognition system, which supports both real-time identification and forensic video investigations.

Corsight AI is presenting its platform at the DEFEA defence exhibition in Athens, as interest grows among security and defence agencies worldwide.

Corsight AI assists crime detection

In Essex, UK police tested Corsight’s Live Facial Recognition (LFR) system in partnership with Digital Barriers.

The force reported high accuracy rates, even in difficult environments and praised the system’s ability to avoid false alerts – an issue that has limited the adoption of other facial recognition tools.

“Operational outcomes”

Commenting on the company’s recent deployments, Ofer Ronen, EVP of Business Development, Corsight AI said: “These aren’t lab tests – they’re operational outcomes.

“When officers need to act quickly or investigate after the fact, our system delivers the clarity and speed they need,” finalised Ronen.
