Building on the success of the highly acclaimed ISJ Leaders in Security Conference in the Middle East and due to high demand, Security Journal UK is excited to announce the launch of the SJUK Leaders in Security Conference.

This exclusive, invitation only, one-day event, is specifically tailored for the most senior security professionals from the UK and Europe and will take place on 16 July 2024 at the prestigious Hilton Deansgate, Manchester, UK.

SJUK Leaders in Security – What’s coming up

The SJUK Leaders in Security Conference will offer a blend of regional, national, and international perspectives through in-depth business analysis, along with peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, insightful opinions, guidance and education.

Through a carefully balanced and focused blend of lively interactive panel discussions, presentations and networking breaks, experts representing businesses, organisations and associations will address the issues facing senior security leaders in their day-to-day operational environment and long-term career development.

Rick Mounfield MSc CSyP FSyI, Director, Optimal Risk Group has been appointed Conference Chair. Rick will work alongside the specially appointed independent Advisory Panel – comprised of some of leading names in the UK and wider European security industry – to curate a thought-provoking agenda which addresses the key issues keeping security leaders from the UK and Europe awake at night.

Commenting on the launch of the SJUK Leaders in Security Conference, Rick said: “When I was invited to be Chair for the SJUK Leaders in Security Conference, it sparked the same creative flame that I enjoy in my consultancy work. I am excited about building what will be a ground-breaking conference – an event that promotes collaboration and brings together the leading individuals our sector has to offer, for the benefit of our professional community and wider society.”

Norman Heit, Group Corporate Security & Resilience Director at Vodafone said: “I am excited to be part of the SJUK advisory board, which represents a unique opportunity to share insights with this community on current and future challenges, and identifying opportunities and risks related to innovation and technology. Last but not least, I am strong believer in the value of networks, personal exchange, and fostering strong relationships in the security community, and the SJUK Leaders in Security Conference is the perfect platform to do this.”

Echoing this view, Fiona Gaskell, Director of Security, International Tours and Retail at Warner Bros. Studios Tours London and Tokyo said: “This event is such an important opportunity to bring professionals together from all avenues of security so they can share good practice, hear the latest updates and insights in security and learn, improve and grow together.”
