Squire enhances padlock range with new security features

Squire Locks has updated its Stronglock range of padlocks for the home to offer new protective features.

The Stronglock Plus padlocks reportedly introduce hardened boron steel shackles to provide further attack resistance against angle grinders, while the outer casing has also been upgraded to offer improved weather resistance.

The four-pin cylinder is said to offer over 1,000 key differs, while its anti-pick properties deliver resistance against lock picking.

Squire has reported that the new Stronglock Plus range can be ‘keyed alike’ to existing Stronglock padlocks.

Available in three body widths – 45mm, 50mm and 60mm and a range of shackle options, Stronglock Plus padlocks are reportedly ideal for use in the home, whether it’s for securing garages, outbuildings or gates.

Their laminated steel bodies with anti-corrosion finishes are said to offer protection from the elements, while a double locking mechanism provides extra security, delivering long-lasting protection.

Each Stronglock Plus padlock also reportedly benefits from Squire’s 10-year guarantee, personally backed by John Squire, the company’s CEO.

“Enhanced security products”

Terry White, National Field Sales Manager, Squire said: “At Squire, we pride ourselves on constantly innovating to offer new and enhanced security products.

“We believe that securing homes and possessions shouldn’t be unattainable, which is why we’re pleased to upgrade the Stronglock range.

“Stronglock Plus offers an even stronger, more convenient padlock option, backed by our commitment to quality.”
