KST opens training centre for public space surveillance

Kings Secure Technologies (KST) has announced the opening of a new accredited training centre at its technology monitoring facility, K-SOC, located in the West Midlands.

The training centre is set to provide comprehensive guidance in public space surveillance.

KST has said that it will be catering to both newcomers entering the field and seasoned professionals striving to advance their expertise in public space surveillance.

The organisation articulates that this initiative underscores its commitment to investing in innovative learning opportunities and fostering a culture of continuous professional development.

Curriculum shaped for public space surveillance

The training facility is said to play a pivotal role in supporting the group’s learning and development program, steered by Cassie Flanagan, KST’s Head of L&D.

The training centre will be led by Ricky O’Sullivan, K-SOC Training Manager, an accredited instructor with Highfield who brings over 10 years of experience in the security industry.

The curriculum created by KST is said to have been designed to combine theoretical knowledge with practical applications, ensuring participants gain a well-rounded understanding of surveillance techniques.

Enhancing security standards

O’Sullivan commented: “At K-SOC, we are committed to empowering individuals with the skills they need to make a meaningful impact on public safety.

“Our new training centre represents a significant step forward in enhancing security standards through education.

“I’m thrilled to bring my experience to this venture and look forward to welcoming participants who share our dedication to safeguarding public spaces,” finalised O’Sullivan.
