Ultimate Visual Solutions and Philips collaboration grows

Video wall specialists Ultimate Visual Solutions (UVS) has announced it is to grow its relationship with Philips after seeing a large increase in its use of Philips LCD video walls for security projects.

Philips Professional Displays (PPDS) is part of the largest display manufacturer in the world, TPV Technology, and holds the exclusive global rights to bring Philips-branded digital signage, displays, professional TVs and monitors to life.

In the last 12 months the number of Philips video-wall LCDs, which UVS has used on projects, has increased by more than 50%.

UVS is also utilising Philips’ new 65-inch 4K resolution video wall displays on a new project in Scotland.

Partnership

UVS is also about to carry out testing with Philips Displays to become a validated partner for UVS ‘Lucidity inside’ DBD Displays, where Lucidity video wall controller functionality is made available directly within the LCD display.

PPDS UK Sales Manager Tracy Barrow said: “We are extremely grateful to the team at UVS for the role they’ve played in helping grow the Philips brand within the control room sector.

“Achieving 50% growth is a fantastic milestone, and is a testament to our partnership, commitment, and ongoing collaboration.

“We value the relationship we’ve built and look forward to continuing this momentum together in the future.”

Ultimate Visual Solutions Managing Director, Steve Murphy, said: “Our customers know that UVS remains manufacturer agnostic in order to provide clients with the absolute optimum solution, however in the last 12 months we have seen a 50 per cent increase in projects where we have used Philips video wall LCDs.

Control room specialists

“Our control room video wall installations with Philips include highly secure operations centres for police forces, fire brigades, NHS applications, transport, shopping mall security centres and most recently, a security control room at one of the UK’s most famous and historical London concert and art venues.

“We are delighted to be working so closely with such a global brand and look forward to strengthening the relationship still further in the future.”

Lucidity continues to be a popular choice for demanding control room environments. Its expanded range of controllers now offers increased processing power and enhanced flexibility.

It is operating in many police forces and government facilities and other government sites such as high security prisons and fire and rescue command centres.
