Zivver a data protection expert, has announced a new agreement with technology reseller Phoenix Software as it looks to enhance its presence within the public sector.

The increased volume of threats, use of cloud applications and hybrid working has left critical information vulnerable and at a greater risk of loss. According to Zivver’s Freedom to Focus report, 45% of those surveyed were concerned about data leaks through email errors, and yet 91% consider it to be the most secure method of communication.

Zivver partnership to deliver better customer experience

Oliver Brown, VP of Commercial at Zivver said: “IT teams face tough challenges when it comes to data security. Not only do they need to safeguard against an increasing volume of cyberattacks, but the channels they need to secure are becoming larger and more complex. Added to this is the need to make digital communications more accessible for staff, employees, partners, and service users.

“Having a partner like Phoenix on board means that we can better serve both public and private sector organisations by making it easier to procure and deploy secure digital communication solutions, delivering robust data loss prevention and a better overall user experience.”

Phoenix Software, which was founded more than 30 years ago, has helped thousands of public and private sector organisations digitally transform and has over 50 strategic partners. The reseller is a provider of end-to-end IT solutions and managed services including cyber security, cloud and hybrid infrastructure, software licensing, software asset management and IT services.

The new agreement sees Phoenix Software becoming a distributor for Zivver’s secure email and file transfer solutions, which ensure sensitive information remains protected against the leading causes of data loss incidents.

Phoenix Software Managing Director, Samantha Mudd said: “Zivver’s values are deep-rooted in the foundations of the solution they provide, and we look forward to offering our customers advanced email and file sharing technology to help them to maintain rigorous standards around security and compliance.”
