Octavian Security UK, a security protection firm, has unveiled the latest stage of its UK expansion plan after opening an office in the centre of Birmingham.
The new office, on Frederick Street, will act as a hub for Octavian Security UK to provide its services throughout the West Midlands.
“With HS2 coming to Birmingham I see a massive shift in many large-scale businesses relocating to Birmingham and the West Midlands in general,” said Kiran Ghuman, Managing Director, Octavian Security UK.
“The Levelling Up initiative is something that I see as accelerating greatly with HS2.
“Birmingham offers a real affordable alternative to London with amazing infrastructure of rail and air.
“Our new office will get us closer to some of our key clients and provide potential customers with a credible security business – right on their doorstep.
“We believe that Octavian will be the first choice for the public and private sector in the West Midlands.”
Octavian Security UK’s head office will remain in Nottinghamshire, but the company now plans to aggressively market the new Birmingham base and immediately start to create jobs in the city.
“We are keen on a presence in Wales – a region we believe has massive growth potential,” Ghuman added.
“We hope to open an office there in 2025. In the meantime, we believe our Birmingham office will provide us with the base we need to further expand into the West Midlands – and beyond.
“Birmingham is at the heart of diversity outside of London and there are many women-owned businesses that are thriving in the city.
“I am looking forward to connecting with those businesses and exchanging ideas.”
